"That One"

I first thought this phrase, said with a a bit of a harsh inflection by John McCain while pointing to Barack Obama, was condescending. I don't want to say racist, although it did remind me of the use of "boy" when referring to an adult African-American.

I did think the phrase was condescending until I read the Daily Kos this morning and saw this:
