So we "gamble" our health insurance....

From Paul Krugman in the NYT, McCain's on words:

Opening up the health insurance market to more vigorous nationwide competition, as we have done over the last decade in banking, would provide more choices of innovative products less burdened by the worst excesses of state-based regulation.

So now, with the meltdown on Wall Street, where would are health insurance be?

Oh, and let's not forget that McCain and the Republicans touted doing the same with Social Security. So if you had a pension or 401K and Social Security invested in the stock market and you were inches away from retiring, you would now be...where? Certainly not in one of your 7 (or is it 8?) houses.

This is what happens when the wealthy 1% have control over the lives of the rest of us.

ENOUGH!
